These terms apply to every order placed with The Cake Studio KE. Placing an order confirms that you have read and accepted them.
All orders must be placed at least 5 to 7 days in advance for standard cakes, and 2 to 3 weeks in advance for wedding or highly custom designs. Your booking is only confirmed once the deposit has been received and you receive a written confirmation from Chef Pavan.
A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your date. The remaining 50% balance is due on or before the collection / delivery date. Accepted payment methods will be shared once your order is confirmed on WhatsApp.
Ingredients, materials and preparation time are allocated specifically for your order. Cancellations made more than 7 days before the collection date will only lose the 50% deposit. Cancellations made within 7 days of the collection date will be charged 100% of the order value.
Design, flavour or size changes may be accepted up to 5 days before the collection date, subject to feasibility. Changes made after that window cannot be guaranteed and may incur an additional charge.
Menu prices cover the cake, cupcake or treat with a classic finish. Custom decoration is charged in addition to the listed price. Every custom design is different, so there is no fixed price. Once you send your order, Chef Pavan reviews what is required and sends a firm quote on WhatsApp, confirmed in writing before baking begins.
All cakes, cupcakes, cookies and decorated cookies can be made eggless on request at no extra charge. Please state that you would like an eggless bake when placing your order, as it cannot be changed once baking has started.
Pickup is available at our Nairobi studio at the arranged time. Delivery within Nairobi is available and quoted separately based on your area. Once the cake has been handed over or delivered, The Cake Studio KE is not responsible for any damage caused during onward transport, storage or setup.
Our kitchen handles wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts and other common allergens. While we take care with every order, we cannot guarantee that any product is entirely free from traces of allergens. Please declare any dietary requirements when placing your order.
